Translating the web pages for www.integrated-home.de – suppliers of integrated home technology, or "intelligent houses" – was something of a challenge. Working closely with the customer and its advertising agency, which had been commissioned to design its website, Wolf Translations handled the translation of approximately 300 individual files that were provided to us in HTML format.

Quality assurance

Both the translator and the proofreader worked on the HTML files using Tag Editor, an application that forms part of the Trados CAT software suite. We first had to convert the files into the industry-standard TTX format so that they could be handled by Trados Translator's Workbench. Prior to delivery to the client, the files were converted back into HTML format. This helped us save the advertising agency a great deal of time. This helped us play our part in ensuring that the deadlines set by the customer could be fulfilled.
